Connecting this with my love of mountains, dales, woodland, lakes and seashore has been a natural development, leading me to landscape photography as the genre I love the most. It is connection with the landscape that makes me pick up my camera, and that can be driven by emotion, mood, memory or sometimes simply the breathtaking visual impact of what I see. My intention is always to show what has captivated my attention, and my appreciation of the experience. In doing so, I enjoy pushing the boundaries, using intentional camera movement and multiple exposure, both of which I love for the freedom they give to express impression or mood, with a fluid, dreamlike quality. I do find constant joy in the land that surrounds me; it invites me on journeys of exploration and discovery, with my camera at hand to help me interpret what I see and experience. And I continue to learn, with grateful thanks to those who help me on this journey through tuition, guidance, feedback and companionship.
